Hey, readers! It’s been a while since I shared any Platform Product Management content but it’s for a good reason.
I have some exciting news to share with you all—I am taking a short break from writing here on Substack until September as I embrace a wonderful new role: motherhood. This is an incredibly exciting time for me, and I am very much looking forward to this new chapter.
Reflection on my career and current Substack journey as a writer
Over the past 5+ years, my work in Platforms and Developer Tooling has been both challenging and rewarding. I've had the privilege to work with brilliant teams that build great products and push the boundaries of what internal PM’ing looks like. Some of my highlights include:
Building Developer Tools from 0 to 1: from Observability to Dev Portals
Building (a lot of) infrastructure from 0 to 1 and scaling it internally
Leading complex multi-regional infrastructure migrations
Working with some amazing engineering teams.
These experiences have not only built up my career but also helped me gain some knowledge that I have been sharing with you regularly.
If you’ve been a reader from the early days, some of you may know that my side hustle is studying for a PhD in Behavioral Economics (alongside my job), researching how we can build better, more consumer focused products. I’ve started my blog a year after my PhD, mainly to practice my writing. I never imagined it would grow into its own thing with over 2,000 readers and folks actually engaging with me as a result of my writing.
I am deeply grateful to each of you for your support and engagement with my work. Your comments, feedback, and interactions have been a source of motivation and inspiration. Building this community has been one of the best things about my writing. And I am only just getting started.
I've received numerous messages and comments that have not only encouraged me but also provided valuable insights into what resonates with you. What should I write about and what challenges do you encounter. Some of you have also told me that my blog helped you in your first 90 days as a Platform Product Manager. And that’s really humbling. So, thank you! All 2000+ of you.

Future Plans
When I return in September, I have some exciting plans lined up for this blog as I want to delve deeper into running Developer Experience initiatives inside organisations, building technical products as non-technical Product Managers and do more interviews with folks from our industry, as well as promoting new voices on my blog.
I am also planning to put together a course or a book so if that’s something that you would find useful, let me know on the usual channels.
